“Klaipėda Sound Festival” is the annual electronic music and art festival held in Klaipėda city, Lithuania. So the logo unites the letter K – representing Klaipėda – and vibrating sound waves. These two symbols are united in brutal, urban, yet progressive forms, which transmit the mood of the festival and the atmosphere of the city’s alternative culture.

The logo revived in the festival’s cutout posters with a super realistic outcome. This way Klaipėda city’s urban landscape and its’ unique locations became an integral part of the posters and the festival’s visual identity overall. It reflected the notion that the festival is an inseparable part of the city’s public and cultural life.

The logo has revived even on the bodies of the festival’s crowd. Customized hand bands with cutouts were made. So the participants could take memories of the festival back home. Literally. As the cutouts left the tan marks on their wrists with the festival logo.

The Festival is famous not only for the exclusive line up but also for a unique scenography, inspired by its vivid location. Klaipėda is the biggest Lithuanian port and the festival holds a place near the Curonian Lagoon. Therefore the main Arena stage was built from branded sea containers to create the authentic atmosphere.
